Greetings!

Hello, and welcome to The Field Guide to Atheist Parasites, a blog inspired by the comments made by Rabbi Daniel Lapin on an episode of the Glenn Beck show:

Here is a transcript of Rabbi Lapin’s words of divine wisdom:

“I do believe that atheists are parasites in the sense that they are benefiting from everything that religious culture has built in America, but they’re doing nothing to add energy into the system.”

Rabbi Lapin’s comments are chilling, to say the very least, especially when one considers the large amount of existing atheist parasites in government, medicine, science, and entertainment, coupled with the growing number of proto-parasites – those people in our country who just coming to grips with their unbelief.

The purpose of this blog is to identify several examples of these nasty little atheos parasitus organisms, to demonstrate what a terrible blight they are on our culture, and to warn believers like Rabbi Lapin and Mr. Beck to stay away from them and all of their disgusting ways.

I am hoping this blog will both educate and enlighten. Thank you for your time.

    Bookmarked!

When I first saw this clip a few days ago it reminded me of the Hutus referring to the Tutsis as “cockroaches.” And its hard to not find this ironic, coming from a rabbi…

    Keep up the good work!

Atheists are parasites? Really Rabbi? I don’t see atheists beg for money and tax exempt status to support delusional beliefs. I don’t see atheists making an effort to protect child molesters the way the Catholic Church has done. I don’t see atheists vilify homosexuals, who are productive members of society. I don’t see atheists call themselves the chosen people of a higher being, the way the Jewish people have done, thus creating one of the first institutional forms of racism. I could go on.

    Oh No! I didn’t know I was a parasite.
I go into dozens of peoples homes each month to help them with various technological issues that are usually beyond their comprehension. That must be my lack of contribution to society. I often wonder how nice some people would be to me if I ever let on that NO, I do not believe in your god, or any others for that matter.
Here’s to all my fellow parasites secretly sucking the life out of society!

Here are some other parasites to add to the list:

    PZ Myers
    Christopher Hitchens
    Sam Harris
    Daniel Dennet
    James Randi
    Ayn Rand
    Penn Jillette
    Teller

Rand wasn’t an atheist – she worshipped Mammon and Baal.
